The story of Chunhyang who became the center of her own life, free from the shackles of power or love

As their first regular performance in 2022, National Jeongdong Theater of Korea Arts Group presents a traditional performance show, which is a new interpretation of 

that was staged in Jeongdong Theater from 2009 to 2013. The new work will portray Chunhyang as a woman who does not rely on the power of the world, is not shaken by love for a man, and pursues her own independent and meaningful life in a delightful way. In addition to the reinterpretation of the character of Chunhyang, this performance also provides enriching traditional cultural experiences by combining different genres of traditional performing arts elements including dance, percussion music, and performing arts.
